Without their regular goal keeper,  Oli Slater and Spencer Tuck shared goalkeeping duties and performed admirably. While winning the division, the team demonstrated it's technical prowess playing smart and simple soccer which received rave reviews.  The praise included that from Philadelphia Union Academy / YSC Sports Director of Coaching,  Iain Munroe, who invited a few playerd to train with the Union Jr's program.

The Met Oval U12 team also had a successful tournament posting 2 wins and 1 loss and just missing the semis by a single point in what was arguably the most competitive age group. Congratulations go out to all participating teams yjsy demonstrated that U.S. soccer is moving in the right direction.
