Eric is also one of a number of U18 players who have been accepted into college programs this year.  Met Oval strives to provide a positive development environment for youth both on and off the field with the primary aim of securing college acceptance.

Eric on his acceptance: “I felt extremely happy and relieved, to be honest, after such a long wait.  I felt blessed and thankful that this would happen to me.  For me this is a dream come true, to be able to study in one of the most elite universities in the U.S.  After all the adrenaline settled down though, I realized I had many people to thank.  My family, friends and God for all that He has placed in my path.”

Eric on the Met Oval:  “Playing for Met Oval has been a great experience for me, both as a player and person. It has taught me commitment, patience and perseverance.  I am thankful for all my teammates and the coaching staff for helping develop as a soccer player.”
